RACE NOTES: The first race of the season was quite eventful with flag to flag action in the midpack. Really a lot of great racing, despite everyone getting their cars sorted out yet. Alertmadusa had a connection issue that put him in his own lobby on the final lap. He was leading at the time and was not being challenged for the lead, and he also saved the replay to prove a finishing time. Under the circumstances and with the support of the would-be runner up, the Executive Team opted to award the win to alertmadusa. This will not be a normal policy but in the event that such circumstances occur again the Executive Team will review the situation.
