Race 2 - September 17th @ Twin Ring Motegi East Circuit
Race lead changes:
1. xxJiMb0bJ0nEsxx Takes the Lead from LM145 at the end of Lap 1.
2. CBZ Rogue D90 makes a valiant effort to pass xxJiMb0bJ0nEsxx on Lap 9, but after an intense lap battling it out door to door, xxJiMb0bJ0nEsxx is able to hold off CBZ Rogue D90, until mid-way in lap 10, xxJiMb0bJ0nEsxx turns up the wee-factor too much before the Bridgestone tunnel, and loses valuable momentum, giving up the lead to CBZ Rogue D90 with nothing but clean air in-front of him.
Observations from the rest of the field:
- The cars were running very close in lap-times for the majority of the field, which resulted in some very close and exciting racing throughout the race.
- Despite Nitro Sam and NghtFox17 having strong cars in the beginning of the race, a mechanical failure on the DC Shoes machine (ie Lag) resulted in a big impact on lap 4, resulting in both drivers falling to the back of the field, and having to work extra hard to regain position. Nitro Sam faring better, was able to secure a respectable 4th place finish.
- DJ 5paZt1c found his car a bit too loose on entry for Turn 1. He ended up rolling the Guinness machine on that very turn. Thankfully the car was off the racing line, which prevented other incidents.

Incident Evaluations after replay review:
1. Lap 12 Turn 1- blackviper162 & DerIntegraR:
blackviper162 was able to setup along-side DerIntegraR prior to the entry in turn 1. Thus allowing him to run the inside line of the turn and hold his line per the SOR Rules & Regulations ( ), no fault given to blackviper162. Offense to DerIntegraR. DerIntegraR failed to concede the line and/or leave room for the driver on the inside (blackviper162).
2. Lap 12 Turn 1- DJ 5paZt1c, LM145, StaticSh33p, & Nitro Sam:
DJ 5paZt1c Locked up brakes on entry, causing him to enter Turn 1 too hot, It appeared that he aimed to thread his car between StaticSh33p and LM145, however LM145 was collected, and StaticSh33p tagged the tail of DJ 5paZt1c, putting him square in front of Nitro Sam. Accident was due to racing hard.
3. Lap 13 Turn 1 – blackviper162
blackviper162 ran wide in turn 1, and approaching drivers felt his entry was too close. Upon review from multiple angles, blackviper162 was at race speeds when he re-entered the track, and had ample room to do so.
4. Lap 14 Turn 1 - DJ 5paZt1c
Impromptu drift session which resulted in rollover
5. Lap 16 Turn 2&4/5 – Nitro Sam & DerIntegraR:
overaggressive driving on the part of DerIntegraR not leaving room for the driver on the inside (Nitro Sam), and running them into the dirt, then in the next corner section (Turn 4/5) DerIntegraR again dives in on driver on the inside (Nitro Sam) this time putting his fender into Nitro Sam’s rear quarter, forcing Nitro Sam off the track into the gravel on Turn 5.Despite causing the accident, DerIntegraR continued driving, not waiting to return the position taken from Nitro Sam.
Driver Warnings & Penalties:
DerIntegraR :
• for yelling, arguing, disparaging remarks or the like during an SOR sanctioned lobby (Article II, Section 2.01 a: iv)
** 1st Warning - Continued behavior will result in a DQ and DNF. All point accrued in that event will be Forfeited **
• SOR ‘Dive-Bomber’ Warning. (See SORisms for description)
o Not yielding or leaving room for the driver on the inside line (Lap 12 turn 1, and Lap 16 Turn 2 & Turn4)
o Dive-bombing blackviper162 on Turn1, Lap 14
** 1st Warning - Continued over-aggressive driving behavior will result in an one race suspension. **
• Causing accident with Nitro Sam (Lap 16 Turn 4, and failing to pull off and give back position)
**4 Point Penalty & Final Warning- a second infraction will result in a suspension for the rest of the series**
blackviper162:
• for yelling, arguing, disparaging remarks or the like during an SOR sanctioned lobby (Article II, Section 2.01 a: iv)
** 1st Warning - Continued behavior will result in a DQ and DNF. All point accrued in that event will be Forfeited **.
DJ 5paZt1c
• For reckless driving resulting in rollover, potentially interfering with the race (ie Creating an obstacle of one’s car) on Lap 14 Turn 1.
** 1st Warning – Repeated behavior will result in a one race suspension.
Notes regarding damage:
Damage is set to Limited due to the pit-lane not fixing aero in FM4. Also keep in mind these cars run very tight, so rubbing and bumping will occur, especially when two drivers are fighting for position. ALL Cars had some sort of aero damage, so everyone was dealing with the same struggle, that’s part of racing.
That being said, everyone needs to continue working on announcing their position when making a pass.
